Now we can only hope that Capcom learns some lessons from this unofficial port if/when it finally decides to bring Resident Evil 8 (and remaster 7) to PSVR 2 and PC VR. However, all-in-all, it’s easily one of the most impressive and polished VR mods we’ve seen, right there along with amazing support for Alien Isolation and The Outer Wilds. But this Outer Wilds VR mod more than does the trick. Watching cutscenes in VR is an incredibly new thing at first, but forced camera movement-a big VR, no, since the early days-quickly bothers you and it happens often. Winning countless 2019 Game of the Year awards, Mobius Digital’s Outer Wilds has long seemed an ideal candidate for a VR port. There are some trickier points, of course. Plus, there are some brilliant funny moments, like holding Ethan’s newborn daughter, Rose, in your arms, only to discover that he’s clinging to your left hand.

You can download / install mods using the mod manager: Outer Wilds Mods Important. The most impressive part of the mod is the implementation of motion controls, which makes aiming a more natural experience while maintaining the challenge. But without ads this site simply could not exist. I see some people asked about VR here already, and I made a VR mod, so. But modder Raicuparta, best known for their VR mods for The Outer Wilds and Firewatch (which recently hit 1.0), is already working on an unofficial VR.
